I joined SOUL Fitness the second week of January 2015. Weighing in at 198 pounds, I had to own the fact that I was very out of shape. I was no longer able to do things I really enjoyed doing like hiking with my family. Even simple things like leaning over to tie my shoe were difficult for me. The more my weight went up -- the more excuses I would make for myself. Before I knew it, 200 pounds was around the corner. When I joined, I had back problems, knee issues, neck problems, and hip issues. I couldn’t do ten jumping jacks without feeling like I was dying. Pushups off my knees? Not happening. I was put through tremendous pain, but this was the type of pain I knew was necessary. My fitness journey definitely wasn’t a walk in the park but I ended up loving it. When you are part of SOUL Fitness and take it seriously, your life and health become your priority. You become a happier, healthier, and more well-rounded person. (The weight loss and muscle gain are absolutely a plus as well). Joining SOUL Fitness saved my life. I am currently down over 40 pounds and am not slowing down. I have gained muscle in places I didn’t think was possible. My legs are the strongest they have ever been. I feel SO much better and am able to move around and do more things with my family and friends. That critical lifestyle change I decided to make is not over by far; I strive to push my boundaries and I am a much happier person. The SOUL Fitness program works. Seriously, stop making excuses and give it a real good go; you will forever be thanking yourself.
